Greg Cooper is an accomplished football coach and former NCAA Division I FCS offensive lineman with over two decades of experience in coaching and athlete development. His football journey began at Nazareth Regional High School (NY), where he excelled as both an offensive and defensive lineman, served as team captain, and earned first and second-team all-league honors during his final two seasons. A multi-sport standout, Greg was also a key player on Nazareth’s New York State Championship basketball team, earned the title of Athlete of the Year as a senior, and was eventually inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame.

Continuing his playing career at Fordham University, Greg competed in the storied shadows of Vince Lombardi and the legendary Seven Blocks of Granite. He earned a scholarship to play for the Rams and secured a starting role as a freshman offensive tackle before transitioning to center for his senior season. After college, he extended his career with the nationally ranked Brooklyn Mariners, a leading program in Minor League Football.

A staunch advocate for preparation, Greg attributes his success to disciplined off-season training and a relentless commitment to studying the game. This same philosophy drives his coaching career, where for over 20 seasons, he has coached and trained athletes aged 8–22. His focus on athlete development has helped players enhance their technique, build confidence, and improve their football IQ, allowing them to compete successfully at the FBS, FCS, Division II, and Division III levels.

Having served in nearly every coaching capacity—Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator, and Special Teams Coordinator—Greg currently coaches high school football in New Jersey. While team success has certainly followed him throughout his career, he measures his impact differently: by the growth of every athlete he coaches. With a dedicated professional coaching staff, his mission is straightforward—ensure that every athlete improves, competes, and leaves the program better than they arrived.
